Well I started using Linux around Ubuntu 7.04 and I liked it so I decided to continue on using it. Even though I find OS X to be around decades in advance I still find Linux to be catching up to much of Windows technology. Since 7.10 the first Ubuntu Distribution that I used there have been many noticeable improvements and I think Linux can't be silenced for long. Today I see that Linux is part of everyone's life. Whether its using programs that are under the GNU license's or open-source projects such as Firefox, OpenOffice.org and many other things, Linux is always going to get attention from all these applications. I found that most OS X users will know about Linux because of the similar UNIX architecture's, and I don't think Apple can really silence them for long.
